Prelude to Symphony of the Universe

The flutes at the waters are the bamboo flute from the Chinese Chamber Orchestra, and the concert flute I used in the Sydney Symphony Orchestra.
The trumpet is the gift from the Captain of the British Garrison in Shanghai, to my grand-father, the front-line commander of the Peoples' Liberation Army (PLA) during the civil war, when the British departed promptly, so they would not get involved in the conflict. The gift was a gesture of goodwill, and a personal expression of the Captain on the popular leadership of the masses by the PLA under my ancestor.
The piano playing is at the State Library of Queensland, Australia.
